The Festival of Transport is the first full classic vehicle show of the year and incorporates three separate events – the Malvern Classic Car Show, the Malvern Classic Motorcycle Show and the Malvern Mini & Spares Day.

The event features over 400 vintage, classic and modern classic vehicles on display, clubs stands and a full vehicle concours overseen by leading MC Les Clayton. There will be over 100 trade and autojumble stalls and with advance exhibitor tickets are available from just £4.50 per vehicle.

Day of the Event
Tickets can be purchased at the admission gate.

Please note that if attending the event using a vehicle exhibitor pass, this provides entry for up to 2 adults and 2 children travelling in the pre-booked vehicle. Any further adults or children visitors will be charged at the on-the-day admission rate.

Visitors may use a motorcycle season pass to benefit from reduced admission of just £3 per person if exhibiting a motorcycle (maximum 2 persons per pass traveling on the motorcycle). Motorcycle season passes are available to order from the Classic Shows website or by completing and returning a Motorcycle Booking Form (available from the Booking Firms section of the Classic Shows website).

VEHICLE DISPLAYS

The event is an established Classic Car and Mini show typically attracting over 500 display vehicles.

There will be a variety of private vehicles displayed by age (pre-60s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s-03) and category (sports and convertibles, kit, custom and replica and American) plus a wide range of club stands and displays from the likes of Austin A30/A35 Club, Jaguar Enthusiasts Club South Wales, Mercia Minis, Mini Cooper Register, Bullseye Mini Club, Worcester Retro, West Midlands Ford, MK1 Golf Owners Club, RS Owners Club, Land Rover Club, Black Country Classics and Arden MG Club.

The event also includes the Malvern Motorcycle Show involving various vintage and classic motorcycles and club displays from the likes of Norton Owners Club, VMCC and 2 Stroke Club.

CONCOURS

The vehicle concours is located in the event arena at the bottom of the Wye Hall and provides a much-loved central feature to the event.

All exhibiting vehicles will be included with the vehicle concours and judging process overseen by experienced commentator and fans favourite Les Clayton. Les has worked at Classic Shows events for over 20 years and provides a friendly and interactive commentary service to engage visitors throughout the event. Les will coordinate the concours and will be assisted by experienced judges with awards presented for a range of categories and culminating in the Car of the Show and Pride of Ownership categories.

Each participating vehicle exhibitor also receives a complementary commemorative plaque.

FOOD AND DRINK, TOILETS

Mobile food and drink facilities are available from directly outside the Wye Halls selling breakfast rolls, burgers, hot dogs and hot and cold drinks.

There is also a permanent, sit down café called ‘The Stockmans’ located at the bottom of the Wye Halls selling breakfasts, roast dinners, snacks plus hot and cold drinks.

Permanent male, female and disabled toilet facilities are located opposite the hardstanding area in between the Wye Halls and Avon Hall.

THE GROUNDS AND VISITOR INFORMATION

The event is located in the Wye Halls and surrounding hardstanding at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern – a well-established and substantial agricultural showground.  The Wye Halls provides ample, quality indoor accommodation and protection from any bad weather.

The event also extends to the hardstanding outside the Wye Halls.

The event is accessed via the Brown Gate and car parking is also located at the Brown Gate.

Separate and unconnected events may also take place at the Three Counties Showground on dates where a Classic Car and Motorcycle Autojumbles takes place. Where this is the case visitors are able to cross over to the other event for an additional charge. Please check the Three Counties website for details of other events held on the same day.

OTHER INFORMATION – DOGS, CAR PARKING ETC

We are a very dog friendly organisation and dogs are allowed at the event. We kindly ask that visitors keep their dogs on leads at all times and use the on-site dustbins to dispose of any dog waste.

Ample car parking is available by the Brown Gate entrance and visitors will be directed to park upon arrival. Visitor parking is free for all events run by Classic Shows at Three Counties Showground, Malvern.

The Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcs, WR13 6NW is located 15 mins drive from J7/8 of the M5 and J1 of the M50.

We offer a heavily discounted admission ticket for car exhibitors who book in advance of the event. At a cost of just £4.50, the car exhibitor ticket allows entry for:

one classic car (aged 2003 / pre-2003) or a car in one of the following themes: American / kit / custom / replica car

two adults and two children (aged up to 14).

Any additional passengers will be charged at the full admission price.

Exhibitor passes are issued subject to exhibitors arriving at the event by 11.00am.

To take up this offer exhibitors must confirm their booking no later than Friday 30 March 2018.

two adults and two children (aged up to 14).

Whilst we are running a classic car show, we appreciate that some clubs have members with newer models of cars – and so we will allow 1 in 4 cars to be of a post-2003 age and still qualify for the £4.50 club exhibitor pass.

Passes are issued subject to exhibitors arriving at the event by 11.00am.

To take up this offer exhibitors must confirm their booking no later than Friday 30 March 2018.

PITCHES

Indoor Pitches: We have 30+ indoor pitches in the Avon Hall (for car trade) and 60+ available in the Wye Hall (for bike trade and clubs) measuring 6m X 6m each so traders and autojumblers can drive onto the site and trade from their vehicles throughout the day.

Outdoor pitches: Outdoor pitches are also available at 6x6m and are available first come, first served.

We have plenty of outdoor pitches, so don’t expect to run out, but if you would like a particular pitch it’s best to arrive early as we do not reserve pitches.

Trade and Autojumbles prices are unchanged from 2016 and 2017.

Autojumble is classed as any item which can be screwed, welded, bolted or otherwise affixed to a classic car or bike, plus repair manuals and parts lists. All other items are classified as trade (such as tools and accessories, books and literature, brochures, toys and models).
