Change of Ownership

After over 30 years and 1,000 events at the helm, Andrew Greenwood will step back from the day to day operation of ClassicShows with effect from 2nd January 2016. Andrew will remain involved with the business, and will be organising the Manchester Bike Show at EventCity, but will hand over the day to day running of all the other events to step son Matthew J Harvey. Matthew has been involved with ClassicShows for approximately 20 years, has undertaken a wide range of roles in the business and is well known to a number of venues, traders and exhibitors. He benefits from a banking, finance and management degree from Loughborough University and has previously worked in the UK and Ireland in a number of banking and finance roles. ClassicShows would like to offer its sincere gratitude to Andrew for all his efforts in building the events into the business we all know and love today.

Classic Shows has been successfully organising classic car and motorcycle shows as well as Mini shows, Ford shows, classic and performance Japanese car shows, modern motorcycle shows, autojumbles and winter restoration shows, classic car runs and auctions since 1985, over 1000 events in total. As the leading name for events serving the specialist vehicle market we hire only top quality, well known venues such as EventCity, Manchester; Knebworth Park, Herts; Blenheim Palace, Oxon; Three Counties Showground, Malvern; Thoresby Park, Notts; Capesthorne Hall, Cholmondeley Castle both in Cheshire and many more.

We have been working continuously with most of these venues for over a quarter of a century and they welcome us back each year because they know that we always do our utmost to provide an enjoyable and entertaining day out for both our visitors and theirs, along with a cost effective trade platform for our stand holders and a well run concours for our club and private vehicle exhibitors.

Our most prestigious event is the Manchester Bike Show held in the spring each year at EventCity, next to the Trafford Centre on the outskirts of Manchester, which attracts all the main motorcycle manufacturers, over 100 trade stands, 750 plus display bikes and in excess of 15,000 visitors.

Stay with the winning team for 2016!
