1,000+ EVENTS OVER 30+ YEARS
Classic Shows is a long-standing organiser and operator of classic vehicle events having organised over 1,000 events since its inception in 1985.
Since this time Classic Shows has operated events from most of the UKs major indoor venues including Alexandra Palace, GMEX, NEC and Event City and a large number of prestigious country homes locations such as Blenheim Palace, Harewood House, Clumber Park, Capesthorne Hall, Bodelwyddan Castle and Cholmondeley Castle.
We like to try and keep things simple and our philosophy focusses on three core strands:
This approach has helped Classic Shows to become firmly established as the longest running independent operator of classic vehicle events in the UK.
In the winter months the business operates a number of classic car and motorbike autojumbles and motorbike events at Three Counties Showground, Malvern. This recently refurbished facility provides considerable indoor and outdoor accommodation and offers a fantastic opportunity to acquire hard-to-find parts, supplies, memorabilia and mingle with likeminded vehicle enthusiasts.
During the summer, the events grow in scale and change theme to that of classic car and motorbike shows. These events all include considerable autojumble and retail opportunities but also involve displays of 300 – 1,000+ classic vehicles, experienced concours judging, commentary and awards ceremonies throughout the event all set within the backdrop of a superb country home location.
A GREAT DAY OUT FOR ALL THE FAMILY
Classic Shows events offer a fantastic day out for all of the family and not just car enthusiasts!
The events are held at some of the finest country homes in the UK and provide an impressive backdrop to a display of rare and interesting classic vehicles. Many venues allow tours of the country house, grounds and / or also include children’s play facilities in addition to unique shops, food offerings and the retail of local produce.
We hope to continue to add further, relevant new content in 2017 to ensure the events continue to appeal to the whole family.
So whether it’s learning more about the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and the location for filming the James Bond film Skyfall at Blenheim Palace, viewing an art collection to rival the finest in the land at Harewood House or taking in the Neoclassical and Jacobean designs of Capesthorne Hall; there is much more to a Classic Shows event than may meet the eye!
NEW EVENTS FOR 2017
NEW FOR 2017 – IMPROVED WEBSITE, ONLINE BOOKING FACILITY, NEW FOOD THEMES AND MORE…
We are pleased to confirm a number of new initiatives for 2017 designed to improve the visitor experience and introduce even more event content to Classic Shows events!
The Classic Shows website has been completely revamped to include more relevant content and aim to provide a comprehensive resource for information about Classic Shows events and what to expect.
The new events at Clumber Park on 18 June and Harewood House on 2 July will trial a street food catering theme and we intend to offer bar facilities at these events (and selected other venues).
With more to announce in due course, we continue to build on the tried and tested format loved by our visitors, exhibitors and traders alike and bolt on relevant, interesting content to the Classic Shows events.
For the first time in 2017 we have introduced a secure online booking system for exhibitors. You can choose both the events and categories that you wish to exhibit in and secure your booking online. Payments are made using World Pay, the industry standard secure online payments gateway, or PayPal, and you will receive email confirmation of your booking within minutes.
