VEHICLE DISPLAYS

We are delighted to return to Blenheim Palace for the Festival of Transport 2018; the premier classic vehicle event of the August Bank Holiday weekend. Over 15,000 visitors attended the event in 2017 and 2018 promises to be even better with more vehicles on display and more content planned.

The Festival of Transport is a classic car and motorcycle show spread over two days and features 500+ vintage, classic and modern classic vehicles on display each day. There will be a selection of private and club displays / stands from the likes of TVR, MR2 Drivers Club, BMW Car Club, Mini Invaders, Minifixers and the Oxfordshire Volks Owners Club.

In conjunction with the Electric Automobile Association (ElectrAA), the event will also feature the second Electric Vehicle Zone (see below).

ELECTRIC VEHICLE ZONE

Following on from the inaugural Electric Vehicle Zone (EVZ) in 2017, we are excited to once again be working with ElectrAA to present a larger EVZ featuring an exhibition of even more electric, hybrid and bridging vehicles in 2018 as part of the Festival of Transport.

Expect to see exhibition stands and the latest models from Tesla, BMW, Nissan, Porsche and many others with most manufacturers also offering test drive facilities. Knowledgeable staff will be on hand to answer questions and run through the many benefits of electric vehicles.

The EVZ will also feature various non-manufacturer electric vehicle promoters and companies and we also invite private owners of electric vehicles to exhibit.

CONCOURS

There will be a full vehicle display arena and concours overseen by expert judges and leading MC Les Clayton.

Vehicles are displayed and judged on the basis of age (pre-60s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s-03) and type (Sports & Convertible, Kit, Custom & Replica and American) with awards presented to the winners of each category in addition to Pride of Ownership, Club of the Show and Car of the Show.

Each participating exhibitor will also receive a free and unique plaque commemorating the event.

TRADE, AUTOJUMBLE AND RETAIL

There will be 40+ trade, autojumble and retail stalls selling hard-to-find parts, spares, merchandise, tools, books and literature, toys and models and craft products.

FOOD AND DRINK

A wide selection of quality food and drink is available from a range of on-site catering facilities including ice cream and a responsible bar.

Additional catering facilities are available within Blenheim Palace.
